Chlorella is great for this, and if you get it in a powder form you can put it in smoothies or sprinkle on salad (not too much on the salad or else it will taste funky!).
You can also try loose leaf herbal teas and a diet of dark green veggies–especially broccoli and spinach.

I personally use it in my saltwater aquariums. Removes ammonia, prevents it from ever becoming part of the nitrogen cycle. Allows for heavy biomass where the high amounts of food required would otherwise lead to water fouling.

May be more uses.
